Our meeting hall has very limited storage space. It is also a commercial building and not a residential building. As such, for the same purpose and use, a commercial building may require very different parts than a residental building, and parts designed for residences will not fit a commercial building, or will break too quickly to be used in a commercial building. The supplies & purchasing service understands this and knows where to get parts that fit our meeting hall.

Also, due to the limited space, who is buying the supplies also needs to be coordinated. If we have 2-3 saints all go to buy paper towels, 1) very likely the paper towels will not fit our dispenser, and 2) we will end up with too much paper towels that take up too much space and clutters the storage areas. As we have one meeting hall, we need just one coordinated service to stock the meeting hall.

It depends on how many active requests there currently are, and what is more urgent or less urgent. If the conditions are right, the serving ones may wait until there are enough things to purchase and place one larger order with the supplier instead of multiple smaller orders. There may also be some fellowship behind the scenes if we need to change what we buy or change the supplier, so sometimes requests can take longer to fulfill.

Please either contact your district serving brothers, the supplies & purchasing serving ones directly, or fill out a new request indicating that it is now urgent. Most like the supply has already been purchased, but it’s good to let the serving ones know the update to the current situation so they can act accordingly.

• Fill out and submit a paper form in the storage closet S11.
• Inform the responsible brother in your district and they can submit the request for you using the form below
• The responsible brother in your district can post the request in the brothers’ WeChat group and we will submit the request on your behalf.
